The South Shore Single Family Sales Statistics from October 2, 2023, to April 2, 2024, reveal notable trends in key neighborhoods. Hingham stands out with a substantial median sale price of $1,100,000 and a relatively higher price per square foot of $491.18, reflecting a robust demand in this area with homes staying on the market for an average of 23 days.


Weymouth, with 167 units sold, presents a more affordable option with a median sale price of $600,000 and a cost of $384.22 per square foot. The homes in Weymouth also tend to sell faster, averaging 19 days on the market.


Hull's real estate market is thriving, with 33 units sold at a median price of $787,000 and $440.00 per square foot, with properties averaging 21 days before sale.


Scituate also shows a strong market presence, selling 78 units at a median price of $875,000 and a median sale price per square foot at $455.51, remaining on the market for 22 days on average.


Norwell's homes command a high price point with a median sale price of $1,030,000 and $400.66 per square foot, staying on the market for around 20 days, indicating a steady demand.
